Tudor Catering Equipment Hire continues to invest heavily in its customers for 2010.

Tudor Catering Equipment Hire as one of the largest Catering Hire companies on the South coast carries a huge stock of equipment to meet almost all of its customer’s needs. However, occasionally special request are received for themed or bespoke requirements. Most hire companies would simply look to cross hire this equipment in for a one off request acting as a middle man with no value added to the customer and pass on the high costs associated with this to its customer base.
Mark Baker Tudor Catering’s Operations Director says that “Tudor Group have a philosophy to invest in its customers and therefore need to support them. Tudor has continued to add to its portfolio over recent years and despite the global downturn in the economy we have continued to support our customer base. New Product line: Induction Hobs – 13amp.

Client request – to make available a fast method of cooking for an outside event where electrical power consumption was extremely limited and space was at a premium hence traditional gas appliances would be difficult to accommodate.
Tudor solution - Induction Hobs were purchased for the client as they are an extremely high efficiency (90%) way to heat pans in commercial kitchens. These hobs can boil 1/2 gallon of cold water in just over 4-minutes. They start at 2,000W of heating power and can be regulated between 500W and 3,100W. Equivalent gas appliances would need to produce 30,000 btu's to achieve the same or a conventional electrical appliance consuming over 6KW. Ideal for use in outdoor catering events where power consumption is at a premium!

Client request – to make available a large quantity of high quality vitrified china plates which could be used for a triage of deserts at a charity ball.
Tudor solution - despite the many options of rectangular plates already available at Tudor, none were quite what the Head Chef was looking for. So Tudor worked with the client sourced and invested in the correct plate for the event.

Client request – provide props for an Indian themed party night for a large wedding marquee which were not available to hire anywhere in the UK.
Tudor solution - a selection of Indian props were selected with the customer, which were then sourced for hire with the client.
